Women Empowerment and Gender Equality Programme

  1. 1- Women's Group Formation and Training For Capacity Building :-

    25 self-help groups were formed by Kadam Jan Vikas Sanstha in its work area district Shivpuri (MP) and Khaniyadhana block of Gwalior, which proved helpful in empowering women economically.

  2. 2- Men's Group Formation and Training for Capacity Building On Patriarchy and Gender Base Issues :--

    Men's groups were formed to change the patriarchal thinking prevalent among men on topics like women empowerment, gender equality and violence against women, conducting community awareness meetings with their members and empowering the members to sensitize people in their community.

  3. 3- Women Day Celebration :--

    Celebrating International Women's Day is to honor women by making them aware of their important role within the society, they should get equal status within the society, they should not be deprived of any rights, and they should not be discriminated against in any way. Go With similar thinking, the organization celebrates International Women's Day every year with great enthusiasm in the community.



Elimination Of Violence Against Women

Legal Clinic and Counseling Support

Under the Legal Clinic Programme, the organization organizes meetings with victims of violence / domestic violence / women caught in conflict, providing appropriate counseling and legal aid in relation to cases of violence against women and domestic violence. Also, through these meetings, women of the community should be made aware of the violence happening to them so that they can take the right decisions at the right time.
