Other Programme and Activities

  1. 1- Mahila Hinsa Virodhi Jagrukta Pakhbada :--

    To make people aware about violence against women in the society, International Anti-Violence for Women Fortnight is celebrated every year from 25th November to 16th December, under which various types of activities like awareness meetings, street plays, posters are organized. Are done. Exhibition etc. Through painting competitions, signature programs and awareness rallies etc. people are made aware and motivated to raise their voice against violence against women.

  2. 2- Covid-19 Relief Work :--

    Many awareness programs and assistance related activities were conducted by the organization in collaboration with the Paul Hamlyn Foundation under the Covid-19 relief work to reduce the ill effects of the Corona epidemic in the workplace.

    1. A- Dry Ration Distribution Program :--

      Ration was provided to 300 needy families in the work area Gwalior and Khaniyadhana.

    2. B- Awareness Program :--

      Under this, public awareness was spread through wall writing on prevention methods related to Corona disease in public places.

    3. C- Street plays :--

      Street plays were organized in 20 villages to make people aware about the Corona epidemic.

    4. D-

      Grant assistance to the needy at the workplace for self-employment as per their local level efficiency.
      An assistance of Rs 10,000 per beneficiary was provided to 10 people to identify people and start self-employment at the local level.

    5. E- Online FIR Awareness Program :--

      Women struggling with cases of violence against women and domestic violence during the Corona period were given information about the online process of complaint and application for help.

    6. F- Sanitary Napkin Distribution Program :--

      Keeping in mind the hygiene and health related problems of adolescent girls and women during the Corona period, sanitary napkins were distributed to them under the Sanitary Napkin Distribution Programme. Under this programme, assistance was provided to 400 adolescent girls and women.

    7. G- Process of work and application in MNREGA :--

      Keeping in mind the hygiene and health related problems of adolescent girls and women during the Corona period, sanitary napkins were distributed to them under the Sanitary Napkin Distribution Programme. Under this programme, assistance was provided to 400 adolescent girls and women.

    8. H- Mera Aagan Meri Pathshala :--

      Due to the closure of schools during the Corona period, the education of children was adversely affected, for which the organization ran a program called Mera Aangan-Meri Pathshala in 20 selected villages of the area, in which children were provided formal education as well as interesting education. Along with the activities, counseling was also provided on their personal problems like physical and mental etc.

    9. I- Mendhabandhan Program :--

      Under this, paddy field assistance was provided to tribal farmers to improve the condition of their fields, in which they were also given financial assistance and information was also provided about the benefits of using paddy fields in farming.

  3. 3- Vidyalay Vidyarthiyon Ka Vigyan Evam Swasthya Saksharta Hetu / Vaigyanik Drishtikon Vikas :--

    Through this project, in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, 2000 students of 20 schools in 3 districts (Gwalior, Datia, Shivpuri) were made aware of science and health literacy to adopt scientific approach on various aspects of life.

  4. 4- Meri Rasoi- Mahila Vigyan Sakshrta Ki Prayogshala :--

    This project is being done by the organization in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, District Shivpuri Madhya Pradesh. 500 women of K2 Block were exposed to scientific aspects of food science, under which scientific attitude was developed among women regarding the use of nutritious food items that were easy and accessible at household level. Under this project, some major activities were conducted for the development of scientific attitude among women such as -

    • Seminar on nutrition and health counseling.
    • Camp for preservation of scientific aspects of traditional nutrition.
    • Training on management and disposal of kitchen waste.
    • Workshop on scientific literacy related to nutrition, health and cuisine.
    • Model for safe disposal of kitchen waste.
